Christine S. - Ma Cherie

Hi there, how's it going? Christine S. here posting for Artfull Crafts.  It's so nice to be back home & surprisingly I'm recovering from jet lag quite well (It ain't easy traveling with 2 kids!).  Today I'm posting 2 layouts with the beautiful Ma Cherie collection, so let's get on to it :).

Today Is Dress Up Day

The first layout features a single photo with a dark backdrop of the Dainty paper.  Under a couple of torn areas is the lovely gray floral print of the Beauty paper. I added some of Bo Bunny's Gold Glitter Paste through a stencil & some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists for the background, keeping to the gold, red & pink colors.

The paper layers behind the photo are Glamour, Fancy & the torn piece of Bamboo specialty gold foiled paper.  These papers are anchored by a strip of embossed lattice chipboard.

The cluster is made up of pretty Collectables die cuts, stickers from the Sticker Sheet, & a variety of Artfull Embellies (White Mini Doilies & Antique Bronze Large Leaves).  The mini paper flowers are available to purchase in the shop as well.  It's all finished off by adding some mini letter stickers for the title on top & some journaling at the bottom of the photo.

The second layout has prominent lighter colors & has a brighter feel to it inspired by the two fun photos.

Love My Sister

I started with a white cardstock & added a little touch of texture paste & glimmer mist in the middle to surround the pictures.  I then cut out the Elegant paper in a couple of pieces & adhered them to the sides.  I think that if you must only get 1 piece of paper from the Ma Cherie collection then this would be it...such a rich & beautiful fabric print.

The cluster is again made up of the die cuts from the collectables & pieces from the sticker sheet.  I've also added some cut out pieces from the Fine paper, I Am Roses Large White Paper Rose, & some Artfull Embellies to match my daughter's yellow dress (Pastel Polka Dots Wooden Buttons & Yellow Waxed Cord).

To finish this layout, I added a couple of the 12x12 paper's bottom strips beside the photos & at the bottom of the page.  I then added a variety of alpha stickers for the title & some journaling near the cluster.

So which layout do you like best? I personally love them both:).  If you're after feminine florals with a little Oriental touch, & a beautiful color palette of pinks, gray & burgundy, then you have to check out the gorgeous Ma Cherie collection here.  Thanks so much for dropping by.

Cheers,

Christine S.
