Betsy - A Card Class

Betsy here today to share a couple of cards which I have previously taught at Artfull Crafts. The ladies seemed to enjoy making these and of course I find it so much fun, just being with them. Wednesday mornings are always enjoyable at Artfull Crafts as we learn to branch out, sometimes out of our comfort zones, but we do learn new tricks etc. If, over the Winter, you have some time on your hands ,do check out what is on at the shop and come join us.

Now back to the cards. I do hope you get some ideas for your next projects ladies.

This first card is a circle step card. It was made using the lovely collection from Kaisercraft, called Cherry Blossom. Spellbinders Beaded Oval Die was used to cut out the oval and the flower was made using tissue paper. The bird was cut using Tim Holtz die. We sprayed through a stencil using Glimmer Mist - the effect is lovely.

For our next project we made a tag. Again we used the Tim Holtz birdcage die, spraying it with Glimmer Mist then stamping it with a script stamp. We coloured the bird using Kaiserfusion Alcohol pens.

That's it ladies must return to my workroom and continue the good work. Trust you are all enjoying the holiday break even though the weather has turned a bit sour.

Happy crafting all and many blessings. See you again soon.

Betsy
